Carlos Ortega MD

Dr. Ortega is from the Chicagoland area. Fluent in spanish, he
completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of
Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. After earning his medical degree
from the University of Illinois College of Medicine -Chicago
Campus , Dr. Ortega remained in Chicago, where he completed
his residency at the Metropolitan Group Hospitals residency in
General Surgery ( University of Illinois chartered). He subsequently
completed a fellowship in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at
Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center

Dr. Ortega has been serving patients on Chicago's northside for
many years practicing general surgery and trauma surgery. His
practice has grown to include offices on the north and south sides
of the city. He is a teaching attending with a surgical residency,
and maintains privileges at three hospitals. He also performs
laparoscopic (minimally invasive) procedures.

El Dr. Ortega es del área de Chicagoland. Fluido en español, él terminó su grado del estudiante
en biología en la universidad de Illinois en Champaign-Urbana. Después de ganar su grado
médico de la universidad de Illinois Colegio de Medicina - el campus de Chicago, el Dr. Ortega
permanecía en Chicago, en donde él terminó su residencia de cirugía con la programa
